Nathan Minnema

Nathan Minnema, PE, has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field, currently serving as Engineering Manager and Director of Operations at Golden Valley Electric Association since May 2011, where oversight includes substation maintenance and metering technician groups. Previously, Nathan owned Big M Electric LLC from June 2010 to December 2020 and worked as an Electrician for the Interior Regional Housing Authority from October 2004 to May 2010. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, as well as an Electrical Trainee certification from AVTEC, Alaska Vocational Technical Center.
