Golden Valley Electric Association
Stacey Baldridge is an experienced records manager currently employed at Golden Valley Electric Association since February 2019. Previously, Stacey held positions as an assistant archivist at the Ted Stevens Foundation and collections manager at the Alaska Native Language Archive within the University of Alaska Fairbanks, focusing on digitizing linguistic materials for global access. Additional experience includes serving as a contract oral historian for Information Insights, where Stacey led the Skagway Oral History Project, and interning at the Northern Alaska Environmental Center, contributing to web presence and documentary projects on environmental issues. Stacey holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Archives and Records Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as a Master’s degree in Northern Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and The University of Akron, respectively.

Golden Valley Electric Association serves over 36,000 members, with 44,800 meters, in Interior Alaska. The Cooperative’s mission is to safely provide these members with reliable electric service, quality customer service, and innovative energy solutions at fair and reasonable prices.
