Benica Joy Pasaporte

Benica Joy Pasaporte serves as a Technical Director at WSP since January 2023, contributing to sustainable engineering solutions globally. Since April 2009, Benica has held the position of Regional Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor at Golder Associates, overseeing HSE system development across Asia and leading a team of seven HSE Coordinators. Benica also has experience as an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant, managing projects related to environmental site assessments and audits. Prior roles include Project Manager and Environmental Scientist at Coffey International Ltd, where key projects involved environmental risk assessments and remediation, as well as an Environmental Scientist role at Golder Associates focused on site investigations. Benica’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Ateneo de Manila University and a Master of Arts in Sociology (units earned) from the University of the Philippines, supplemented by a certificate in Occupational Safety and Health from the International Training Centre of the International Labor Organization.
