Brent Baxter

Brent Baxter is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in environmental management and rehabilitation. As an Associate and Senior ESIA Lead at Golder Associates Africa (Pty) Ltd since 2002, Brent has contributed significantly to the field. Prior to this role, Brent served as Managing Director at Envirogreen Consulting from 1998 to 2001, where efforts focused on the development of a rehabilitation research program and establishing a consultancy in land rehabilitation and mine closure planning. Brent's career began as an Environmental Scientist at Anglo Coal Environmental Services from 1994 to 1997, following the completion of a Ph.D. in Botany at the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg, where also earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours degree in Botany and Zoology.
