Lead Embedded Software Engineer at Goldilock

Mohamed Abou Samak has a strong background in embedded software engineering and electronics. Mohamed most recently worked at Goldilock as a Lead Embedded Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing embedded Linux for Intel-based architecture, C++ application-level development, and firmware development for Microchip PIC range MCUs. Prior to that, they worked at e-Track as an Embedded Software Engineer, focusing on firmware development for IOT using AWS and RTOS, driver development for embedded peripherals, and embedded Linux kernel development. Mohamed also has experience as a Software Engineer at Maltron International Ltd, working on UI development, medical condition detection algorithms, and data scripting. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Embedded Electronics Engineer at e-Track, focusing on firmware development for ATMEL MCUs, PCB and Schematic layout design, and optimized circuit designs. Mohamed started their career at Mobitel AS as an Electronics Technician, where they were responsible for quality control, parts management, and device troubleshooting.

Mohamed Abou Samak's education history begins with their American High School Degree in Sciences, which they earned from the Modern American School Of Egypt from 2004 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued a Foundation degree in Engineering from Coventry University College, studying there from 2014 to 2015.

Continuing their education, Mohamed completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronics Engineering at Coventry University from 2015 to 2018. Mohamed then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronics and Computer Engineering at the University of Birmingham, studying from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Mohamed obtained the Adobe Certified Associate in Web Authoring Using Adobe Dreamweaver certification from Adobe in December 2017.
