Jamil Bata

Jamil Bata is currently the Vice President & Senior Counsel at Goldman Sachs. They previously served as a Senior Managing Associate in the Private Equity/M&A group at Sidley Austin LLP, where their practice focused on corporate matters for various companies. Jamil earned their J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law, where they were the managing editor for The Review of Litigation and the Class of 2015 Permanent Class President. They also hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus in finance from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business.
