Lucas Alves

Lucas Alves is an accomplished investment banking professional currently serving as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financing Group at Goldman Sachs since July 2023. Previously, Lucas completed an investment banking internship at Goldman Sachs in 2022 and gained experience as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst at UBS, where responsibilities included building PNL models and conducting research on APAC and EMEA markets. In leadership roles at Duke University, Lucas was Vice President of the Junior Class in Duke Student Government and engaged with several organizations, including the Duke Latin American Student Organization and the Duke Latinx Business Organization, positioning Latinx students for success in business. Lucas's commitment to community service is evident from co-founding CISV International in Miami and restructured programs at Shake-A-Leg Miami. A Duke University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics, Lucas continues to expand knowledge at Brown University while actively contributing to various professional and student initiatives.
