Steve Kawana

Steve Kawana is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs since July 2022. Previously, Steve held the position of Vice President at the Rice Undergraduate Investment Fund and completed internships at Rice Management Company and Goldman Sachs. Other notable experiences include co-leading the Rice Escape Club and interning at Santander Consumer USA, WHW, and 180 Degrees Consulting, where Steve contributed to nonprofit projects focused on funding and mentorship programs for homeless youth. An early career included a role at Chipotle Mexican Grill and a public engagement internship at ASUCI, enhancing voter turnout and advocating for student support. Steve Kawana earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University and also studied Economics at UC Irvine.
