Veena Valsakumar

Veena Valsakumar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and software engineering. Currently serving as Vice President in Investing & Lending Engineering at Goldman Sachs since December 2021, Veena previously held roles at Goldman Sachs as an Associate and BI Developer, focusing on enterprise design and data solutions. Additional experience includes positions as OBIEE Lead Consultant at Cintra US, Data Modeler at Fidelity Investments, and Research Assistant/Data Analyst at the University of Virginia, where Veena contributed to significant projects such as the design of dashboards for senior leadership and analysis for the Human Genome Project. Veena began a career in technology as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies Ltd and later worked as an IT Senior Consultant at Oracle. Educational qualifications include an M.S. in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from Govt Engineering College, Thrissur.
