Rick Kossik

President at GoldSim

Rick Kossik has worked in the engineering and business sectors for over 30 years. Rick began their career in 1986 as a Water Resources Engineer at CDM, where they specialized in the development and application of numerical modeling techniques to surface water and groundwater flow and transport problems. In 1987, Kossik moved to Golder Associates, where they developed and applied probabilistic performance assessment and decision analysis techniques to the evaluation and siting of radioactive waste disposal facilities worldwide. In 2004, they became President of GoldSim Technology Group, where they produce GoldSim, a Monte Carlo simulation software solution for dynamically modeling complex systems in engineering, business and science.

Rick Kossik obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science from the University of Michigan in 1984. Prior to this, they earned a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1986.
