Elyse Highstreet

Elyse Highstreet is an experienced professional in community organization and strategic initiatives, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Good Old Lower East Side, Inc. (GOLES) since November 2018. Prior roles include Senior Organizer and Rent Regulated Housing Organizer at GOLES, a HEAT Intern at New York Hotel Trades Council, and Community Outreach Coordinator at Carroll Gardens Association. Elyse's background also includes service as an AmeriCorps NCCC Member, a Neighborhood Alliance and Coalition Coordinator at Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation, and various positions in retail and education. Elyse holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, completed in 2016.
