Lorena Reyes

Lorena Reyes is a Principal at Goleta Union School District since 2018. Prior to this role, Lorena served as an Assistant Principal at South San Francisco Unified School District from July 2016 to July 2018 and held various positions at Oakland Unified School District from August 2007 to July 2016 including Principal, Assistant Principal, and teacher. Lorena has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Education from University of California, Berkeley and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University-Portland. Additionally, Lorena worked as a Tutor/Mentor at Berkeley Youth Alternatives from September 2004 to May 2007, where she supervised play activities and homework sessions, promoted health and parent involvement, and assisted in providing a positive learning environment for children.
