Martin Blake

Martin Blake is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in sports journalism and communication. Currently serving as the Media Advisor and Communications and Media Manager at Australian Golf since January 2022, Martin has also held the position of Media Manager and Senior Writer at Golf Australia since September 2012. In addition to a freelance journalism career beginning in October 2012 and authoring works for Penguin Publishing, Hardie Grant, and Pan Macmillan, Martin was a broadcaster for ABC Radio Grandstand from 2012 to 2018. Prior to these roles, Martin spent 26 years at The Age as a sports writer, sports editor, and deputy sports editor, covering various sports including AFL, cricket, basketball, and golf. Education was completed at Stawell High School.
