Bill Gombert has a diverse work experience in the golf industry. Bill started their career as a Manager at Great Golf Learning Centers from 1991 to 1993. Bill then worked as an Assistant PGA Professional at Bonnie View C.C. from 1994 to 1997. From 1998 to 2012, they held various roles at Hillendale C.C., including Assistant PGA Professional and Head PGA Professional.

In 2013, Bill became a Tournament Consultant at SEU Promotions, where they worked until 2015. During this time, they focused on organizing and promoting charity golf tournaments.

In 2013, Bill also established their own business, BG Golf Inc, which specialized in creating portable golf solutions for events, parties, and promotions. Bill operated this business until 2017.

Bill was also a Partner at Lake Norman Inflatables, LLC from 2014 to 2016, where they provided inflatable rentals for family and social events.

From 2015 to 2017, Bill worked at Golf Genius Software, initially as a Customer Support Representative and then as the Director of Customer Services. Their responsibilities included providing support to existing clients and introducing Golf Genius to potential clients. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Sr. Product Manager - Associations and Tours at the same company. In this role, they managed relationships with key national accounts and worked closely with clients to plan and prioritize product requirements.

Bill Gombert attended Emmaus High School from 1982 to 1984. Bill then pursued higher education at Appalachian State University from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems.
