Thierry Nguyen

Thierry Nguyen has extensive experience in the media and communications industry. Thierry is currently serving as the Vice President and Director (Connector) at Golin, where they are responsible for driving media relations strategy for clients at Nintendo of America. Prior to this, Thierry was a Senior Account Supervisor at Assembly Media, Inc, where they played a crucial role in the convergence of teams at Edelman to lead various PR, digital, and creative projects for Microsoft. Thierry also worked as a Senior Account Executive at Edelman, primarily focusing on the Microsoft Interactive Entertainment Business (Xbox One) team.

Before their time at Edelman, Thierry served as a Communications Specialist at Electronic Arts, overseeing initiatives and maintaining consistent external communications for the Origin brand. Thierry also has experience as a Freelance Writer/Consultant, providing editorial coverage and consultation services for clients such as 1UP, Capcom, and Sega.

Earlier in their career, Thierry held editorial roles at IGN Entertainment, Ziff Davis Media, Turner Broadcasting System/GameTap, and Fox Interactive Media/GameSpy, where they contributed to the coverage of various video games and managed teams of editors.

Throughout their work experience, Thierry has demonstrated a strong passion for video games and has consistently utilized their writing and communication skills to drive successful campaigns and strategies.

Thierry Nguyen obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, Thierry attended San Francisco University High School.
