Gail Carmody

Gail Carmody has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations and management. Gail is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Direct Lending at Golub Capital, a position they have held since June 2019. Prior to that, from June 2015 to May 2019, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Family Management Corporation.

Before joining Family Management Corporation, Gail worked at Barclays, where they held multiple roles. From September 2012 to September 2014, they were the Director and Chief Operating Officer of COO at Barclays. Prior to that, they served as a Director at Barclays Wealth from June 2010 to September 2012.

Gail's longest tenure was at Barclays Capital (Post Lehman Bros. Acquisition), where they held various directorial positions. From April 2009 to June 2010, they were the Director and Group Business Manager. Before that, from April 2006 to April 2009, they served as the Director and Chief Operating Officer. Gail's first role at Barclays Capital was as the Director and Global Business Manager, a position they held from September 1998 to April 2006.

Gail Carmody's education history includes pursuing an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. Gail also completed a BA (Hons) in Economics and Social Studies from The University of Manchester. In addition to their degrees, Gail has obtained the Series 7 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
