Harsh Thakkar

Harsh Thakkar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in assurance and fund accounting, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Cohen & Company since June 2021. Prior to this role, Harsh held progressively responsible positions at Northern Trust Corporation, including Technical Coordinator and Senior Fund Accountant, where responsibilities involved providing critical financial insights, managing operational activities, and mentoring junior staff. Harsh began a career in finance as a Loan Officer Assistant at 1st Advantage Mortgage and has accumulated experience in various financial service roles, including positions at PNC Bank and The Home Depot. Harsh holds a Master of Science in Accounting from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University.
