Hunter Buerster

Hunter Buerster, CPA, has a work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. In 2016 and 2017, they worked as an Audit Intern at Deloitte, where they performed substantive testing on client accounts, planned meetings with clients, and completed financial statement tie-outs. In 2019, they became an Audit & Assurance Assistant at Deloitte, and later progressed to the roles of Audit & Assurance Senior Assistant and Audit & Assurance Senior, gaining experience in auditing and assurance. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Technical Coordinator, Financial Reporting, GFS at Northern Trust Corporation. Currently, they are a Senior Financial Accountant at Golub Capital, starting in September 2022.

Hunter Buerster, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University in 2018. Hunter also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the same institution during the same period. In 2016, Hunter attended the University of Valencia, where they pursued studies in Spanish. Prior to their college education, Hunter graduated from St. Charles North High School in 2014. In September 2020, they obtained the Licensed Certified Public Accountant certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
