Michael Venditti

Michael Venditti started their professional career in 2010 as a Lifeguard & Swim Instructor at Vaughan Lifesaving Society, where they taught swimming to children ages 5 to 13. In 2012, they became a Carpenter at Rinaldi Carpentry, a role they held until 2014. In 2013, they briefly worked as a Guitar Instructor at Encore Music Studio, managing a small business of approximately 10 students per week.

In 2015, Michael joined Chubb Insurance as a Managerial Accountant in the Finance Department, where they assisted with the execution of the Chubb-ACE merger and conducted research on the merged entity's pro-forma revenue streams. Michael also helped with cash flow budgets and variance analysis.

In 2016, Michael worked as a Financial Analyst/Underwriter in the Contract Surety team at The Guarantee Company of North America. Their responsibilities included conducting financial analysis, preparing client reports, and meeting with senior underwriters to discuss new client proposals.

In 2017, Michael had two roles. Michael worked as a Junior Analyst in Corporate Finance at Collins Barrow, where they prepared financial models for various mandates. Michael also joined RSM Canada as an Associate in Litigation Support, involved in quantifying economic losses in a litigation support context, specifically personal injury claims.

At RSM Canada, Michael's roles expanded over the years. Michael became an Associate in Valuation Services in 2020, where they worked with senior management, lawyers, and litigants to establish frameworks for valuing damages. In 2021, they were promoted to a Senior Associate in Valuation Services, a position they held until 2022.

Most recently, in 2022, Michael started working as a Credit Analyst at Golub Capital.

Michael Venditti completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Distinction in Finance from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, which they attended from 2013 to 2017. Michael also participated in the co-op option during their time there. Additionally, Michael is a CFA Level II Candidate through the CFA Institute and a Registered Student through the Chartered Business Valuators (CBV) Institute. Michael has obtained several certifications, including Venture Capital Valuation, Term Sheets & Cap Tables 1-Day Virtual from Wall Street Prep in December 2022, Building a Financial Model (of a Company) from The Marquee Group in September 2017, and the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in April 2017. Michael also took part in the Bloomberg Analytics Course at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.
