Kate Olson

Kate Olson has a diverse work experience in the fields of manufacturing operations, food safety, quality assurance, and research. Kate currently holds the position of Director of Manufacturing Operations at GoMacro since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and R&D at GoMacro from November 2020 to July 2022. Before joining GoMacro, they worked as a Food Scientist/Quality Manager at GoMacro from May 2014 to November 2020. Kate has also held roles such as Quality Technician at City Brewing Company from December 2013 to May 2014, Quality Assurance at Agropur from May 2013 to December 2013, Scientist at PPD from March 2013 to May 2013, and Analytical Technician at The Hershey Company from September 2011 to January 2013. In addition, they have research experience as a Research Fellow at Elizabethtown College in various labs from 2009 to 2011.

Kate Olson attended Elizabethtown College from 2007 to 2011 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Biology. In addition to their formal education, Kate has obtained several certifications including Advanced SQF Practitioner from Ecolab in 2016, FSPCA PCQI from the International Food Protection Training Institute in 2016, and HACCP from the International HACCP Alliance in 2015.
