Gijs Martens' work experience began in 1999 as an IT engineer at Computer Service, where they performed various computer repairs. In 2000, they worked as an Interaction Programmer at Blue7, managing multiple websites. In 2001, they joined TDCLighthouse as an Interaction Programmer. From 2001 onwards, they became the CEO of Gen25, a company consisting of programmers and consultants, specializing in Salesforce solutions. In 2005, they briefly worked as a Junior Consultant at Capgemini Consulting. In 2007, they founded TINKiteasy BV and served as the owner until 2008. Finally, in 2012, they became the CEO of GoMeddo, a scheduling and booking system powered by Salesforce.
Gijs Martens pursued their education in Amsterdam, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics + ICT at Rens & Rens Electronica + ICT from 1997 to 1999. Following this, they attended the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2005, obtaining a degree in BICT (Institute of Information Technology).
