Fabio Martinez began their career in 2016 as an Account Manager for Toshiba Business Systems. In this role, they were the youngest Account Manager they had ever employed and was the first sales rep to make a sale within their first two months. Fabio's responsibilities included pulling in new clientele, controlling their Goldmine program, and maintaining the clients they had acquired.
In 2017, Fabio Martinez moved to Samson Rigging, where they served as a General Manager and Senior Project Manager. Fabio's responsibilities included acquiring new clients, managing projects, hiring new Account Managers, training them, and managing their success. Fabio also had to maintain their client base and bring in more clients, and formulate method statements of how to proceed with certain projects.
In 2020, Fabio Martinez became a Project Manager for PROFFCON, a company that specializes in moving machines including abnormal loads. Fabio's responsibilities included acquiring new clients, maintaining their current client base, and arranging every aspect of the rigging and transportation projects. Fabio managed all employees and subcontractors, and was able to minimize costs of projects to emphasize profits.
In 2021, Fabio Martinez moved to Cochrane International, where they served as a Project Manager. Fabio was responsible for running a database of close to 300 clients within the commercial market and presenting presentations to secure deals. Fabio was able to close multiple seven-figure deals within their market sector.
Most recently, Fabio Martinez began working as a Business Development Manager for GoMetro in 2022. GoMetro is a technology platform for smarter transport operations in public transport, commercial freight, logistics and service fleets. Fabio's role includes providing clients in the mobility sector with a single platform to measure, model, manage and move complex transport operations.
Fabio Martinez attended BMT College from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained a degree in Business Management at the NQF6 level. Prior to that, they attended Stellenberg High School from 2010 to 2014, where they studied Civil Engineering.
