Andrew Ward

Andrew Ward is a legal professional with extensive experience in competition law. Currently serving as a Partner at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo since October 2023, Andrew was previously a Partner at Cuatrecasas from February 2002 to October 2023, where work was focused in the Madrid office. Andrew has also held the position of Visiting Professor at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law from 2006 to 2010, teaching a course on comparative antitrust law as part of the LLM in Transnational Business Law. Earlier career experiences include an Associate role at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in Brussels, focusing on EC and UK competition law, and a Pupil/Barrister position at the Chambers of Michael Lyndon Stanford QC. Andrew's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge and the Bar Vocational Course from the Inns of Court School of Law.
