Vanessa Oliva

Vanessa Oliva is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in immigration law and litigation. Currently serving as a Pro Bono Attorney at Immigrant Defenders Law Center since March 2017, Vanessa advocates for unaccompanied immigrant minors seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. As a Litigation Associate at Gomez & Simone since March 2016, Vanessa manages a diverse caseload and represents clients in court, while also mentoring law clerks. Previous roles include law clerk positions where Vanessa conducted legal research, drafted motions, and handled discovery matters. Vanessa earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Southwestern Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art History from UCLA.
