Tor Opedal

Tor Opedal has a diverse work experience in the payments industry. From January 2023 onwards, they hold the position of Senior Vice President & General Manager of Payments at Olo. Prior to this, they were the Vice President & General Manager of Payments at Olo from September 2021 to January 2023. From April 2020 to September 2021, Tor worked as an Independent Consultant, completing various payment infrastructure projects and advising organizations on payments infrastructure, fraud, and security. Tor also served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Tuli Technologies from April 2020 to August 2021. Tor's earlier experience includes working at Mastercard as the Vice President of US Market Development from June 2013 to March 2020. During their tenure, they focused on growing Mastercard's revenues through customer-specific initiatives. Before that, Tor worked at Arby's Restaurant Group in various roles, including Senior Director of National Accounts from July 2011 to June 2013 and Franchise Business Manager from April 2006 to July 2011. In these positions, they developed and executed strategies to drive growth, increase profits, and enhance the brand for both international and national franchisees.

Tor Opedal obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs from Brigham Young University. In addition, they obtained a certification in Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning from LinkedIn in May 2020.
