Alex Solomon

Alex Solomon is a legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal and financial sectors. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Motive since November 2022, Alex previously held multiple positions at Scotiabank from August 2017 to November 2022, including Director of Investor Relations during a secondment, Director of Senior Legal Counsel, and Director of US Legal Counsel, specializing in civil litigation, regulatory enforcement, investigations, employment, and OFAC sanctions. Prior experience includes an associate role at Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP and Weil Gotshal and Manges. Alex holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) with High Honors from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with Honors in Labor and Industrial Relations from Cornell University. Additionally, Alex studied as a visiting student at the University of Oxford and completed secondary education at Phillips Exeter Academy and Locust Valley High School.
