Patrick Gibbs

Patrick Gibbs serves as the Associate General Counsel for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) at Motive since May 2017, focusing on building a transparent and trustworthy ESG program. Previously, Patrick held various legal roles at KeepTruckin, including Corporate Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed diverse legal matters such as corporate transactions, privacy, and intellectual property. Prior experience includes positions at IBM as a Legal Operations Manager and Machine Learning Coordinator, and as an Associate in the Energy and Natural Resources Group at Reed Smith LLP. Patrick began legal training as a Law Clerk for Judge Carol Doyle at the United States Bankruptcy Court and earned a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where Patrick also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. Education includes a B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
