Hans Kristian Kofod

Hans Kristian Kofod is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in radio frequency design and consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior Radio Frequency Design Engineer at GomSpace since March 2016, Kofod specializes in S-Band RF transceiver and antenna design, alongside X/K Band Up-Down Converter projects. As a Board Member at GomSpace A/S since May 2019, Kofod contributes significant insights from a decade-long consultancy at SatLinQ Technology ApS, where expertise includes RF system design and audio modules for satellite communication. Past roles include RF Developer at SpaceCom A/S, Director at EB Denmark, and various engineering positions at Texas Instruments, Shima Communication, and Maxon Cellular Systems. Kofod holds an Industrial Ph.D. from Aalborg University, where the focus was on GSM transmitter structures, complemented by a Master's degree in Tele. Involvement with Rotary International showcases a commitment to community service.
