Omid Rezaeeamiri

Omid Rezaeeamiri has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Omid is currently serving as a Staff Security Operations Engineer at Gong since May 2021. Prior to that, Omid worked as a Staff Security Engineer at Teradata from June 2019 to May 2021.

Before joining Teradata, Omid held the position of Sr. InfoSec Analyst at AMN Healthcare from October 2017 to June 2019. Omid also worked at Sony Network Entertainment Int'l (SNEI) from July 2013 to October 2017, initially as a Cyber SIRT Engineer handling high severity incidents, and later as a Senior Security Analyst specializing in intrusion detection and packet analysis. At Sony Electronics, Omid served as a Network Administrator/Support for a brief period in 2011.

Prior to their work at Sony, Omid gained experience as a Security Analyst/Sys Admin at Network Vigilance/Security On-Demand from September 2008 to June 2011. Omid started their career in the field of IT at LG Electronics MobileComm, where they worked as a Network Administrator/IT Help Desk from December 2005 to August 2008.

Omid's work history reflects their expertise in security operations, incident response, intrusion detection, packet analysis, and network administration.

Omid Rezaeeamiri attended ITT Tech from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained an A.S. degree in Computer Networking Systems. Omid then continued their education at the same institution from 2007 to 2009, earning a B.S. degree in Information Systems Security. In terms of additional certifications, Omid Rezaeeamiri obtained the SANS GIAC - GCIA certification from GIAC in September 2012, the SANS GIAC - GCIH certification in April 2014, and the SANS GIAC - GCFE certification in July 2016.
