Jarrod Parker

Jarrod Parker has extensive experience in emergency communications, beginning with a role as Communications Specialist at Greenville County EMS since February 2006, where responsibilities include managing emergency and non-emergency requests and dispatching for multiple emergency units and fire departments. Prior experience includes serving as a volunteer Public Information Officer at Tigerville Fire Department from March 2009 to October 2012, and part-time Communications Specialist positions at Greenville Police Department and Laurens County E-911. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Ashford University and certifications in Health and Medical Science Technology from Anderson Districts I & II Career & Technology Center. An early role involved assisting the Medical Director for the Boy Scouts of America, providing first aid during emergencies.
