Joseph P. Smith

Joseph P. Smith has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Joseph began their career at Arthur Andersen in 2000 and spent two years there before moving to KPMG LLP in 2002. Joseph spent eight years at KPMG, where they rose to the position of Senior Manager. In 2010, they left KPMG to join Gonzaga University as their Chief Financial Officer.

Smith has also served on the board of directors for Early Life Speech & Language (formerly known as RiteCare of Washington) and Catholic Charities Spokane - Housing. Joseph currently serves as the finance committee chair for both organizations.

Joseph P. Smith has a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from Gonzaga University. They also have an Associate's degree in General Studies from Palomar College. They are certified by the AICPA in Chartered Global Management Accountant and by the Washington State Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
