Ron Bechtold

Ron Bechtold has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Ron worked as the Vice President of Business Development - Industrial at Gooch & Housego, where they developed growth strategies and product development roadmaps for the industrial market. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Business Development and successfully integrated the Alfalight business into Gooch & Housego. At Alfalight, Inc., Ron held various roles including VP of Sales and Marketing and played a key role in transforming the business into a provider of optical systems to the defense market. Ron secured multiple production contracts with U.S. defense organizations. Ron also worked at PerkinElmer Optoelectronics as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, leading a team responsible for global sales and marketing strategies. Ron restructured the sales organization and developed go-to-market strategies for priority markets. At Hitachi America, Ron served as the Vice President of the DRAM Division and the Senior Director of the Memory Business Unit, among other roles. Ron successfully grew the division's revenue by shifting focus to the high-margin, high-performance segment of the market. Ron started their career at AMD as a Sales Engineer.

Ron Bechtold holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cornell University. Ron also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Santa Clara University.
