Alex Mayers

Alex Mayers is currently the Managing Director and Head of Operations at The Good Food Institute Europe, where they lead all areas of operations for the organization. Prior to this, Alex worked as the Managing Director at Tumaini Ltd, providing project planning and fundraising support to organizations in West and East Africa. Alex also served as the Head of Programmes (Global) at The Donkey Sanctuary, responsible for welfare campaigns and managing programs. With a background in education, Alex has worked in various roles such as a Project Manager at British Council and an Education and Development Advisor at VSO. Alex holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Education for Sustainability from London South Bank University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sociology from the University of Bristol.
