Good in a Room is a consulting firm that specializes in helping creative people pitch and sell their projects.  We work with our clients via video-conferencing on Skype and Google Hangouts.  Our clients are based in the United States and around the world.

Good in a Room founder Stephanie Palmer has consulted with writers, directors, and producers to help them learn to pitch and advance their projects. As a result, Good in a Room clients have sold spec scripts, set up TV shows, produced films, and received better assignments for more money.

In addition, Palmer has consulted with professionals outside of Hollywood to help them get promoted, secure funding for start-ups, and launch small businesses.

Founder Stephanie Palmer is the author of the book Good in a Room: How To Sell Yourself (And Your Ideas) and Win Over Any Audience (Random House).   Palmer has been featured on The Today Show on NBC, The Early Show on CBS, KTLA, Los Angeles Times, National Public Radio and in Inc, Atlantic, Variety, Script, and Speaker magazines.

Previously, Stephanie was the Director of Creative Affairs for MGM where she supervised the acquisition, development and production of feature films. Some of her projects included 21, Legally Blonde, Be Cool, The Brothers Grimm, Agent Cody Banks, Agent Cody Banks 2, A Guy Thing and Good Boy.  The Hollywood Reporter named her one of the "Top 35 Executives Under 35."
