Karen Hagar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in forecasting, crisis management, and social work. Currently, Karen serves as the Founder and CEO of AZUL Foresight, leading efforts to analyze complex global issues, and as Founder, President, and CEO of LogicCurve, which focuses on crisis care and humanitarian assistance. Karen is a Professional Forecaster and Consultant for the RAND Forecasting Initiative, delivering risk forecasts for policymakers. As a Superforecaster® with Good Judgment Inc. and a top performer in the IARPA Forecasting competition with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Karen demonstrates exceptional forecasting skills. Previous roles include consulting for the Future of Humanity Institute and the University of Pennsylvania, alongside significant work in crisis intervention and archaeology. Karen holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Social Work and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security Administration.
