Kevin R. O'Rell

Kevin R. O'Rell has over 40 years of work experience in the food and dairy industry. Kevin R. began their career in 1974 at Beatrice Foods Company as a Research and Development Section Leader. In 1978, they moved to Food Producers International as a Technical Sales Manager. Kevin R. then joined Crest Foods Company in 1980 as a District Sales Manager, where they increased sales by 18% annually. In 1982, they joined Dannon Company as Director of Research and Development, designing and equipping the first functional R&D facility. In 1999, they moved to Horizon Organic Dairy as Vice President of Research and Development, Quality Assurance and Co-Pack Manufacturing, growing the business from $40MM to $250M. In 2004, they joined White Wave Foods as Sr. Vice President of Research and Development, responsible for consolidating Horizon Organic, White Wave and Dean Foods National Branded Group R&D programs. In 2006, they joined The YoCrunch Company - A Division of Danone as SVP Operations / R&D / QA, serving on the senior leadership team responsible for strategic decisions in generating revenue growth from $60MM to $200MM and for the private equity sale of the business to Danone. Finally, in 2016, they joined Good Karma Foods, Inc. as Chief Operating Officer.

Kevin R. O'Rell attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1970 to 1974, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Food Science.
