Catherine MacLean

Catherine MacLean currently serves as a Policy Advisor to the Executive Director at Good Law Project, a position held since April 2024. Previously, MacLean worked as a Public Affairs and Policy Officer at ClientEarth from May 2022 to April 2024. MacLean's early career includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Global Policy Institute, focusing on quantitative economic analysis of debt sustainability within a European Commission-sponsored project. Additionally, MacLean interned at the House of Commons, assisting Kerry McCarthy MP with environmental policy development and casework related to small island developing states, and at The Childhood Trust, where a policy report was developed regarding the effects of the pandemic on children's services in London. MacLean holds a degree in Social Policy and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, with a focus on environmental policy, UK policy analysis, and economics.
