James Hillis

James Hillis is the Co-founder and COO of Good Life Growing. James has a long history of working in various positions in the Saint Louis University system, including as a Graduate Research Assistant, Social Justice & Service Coordinator, and Program Assistant. James also taught an Intro to GIS course as an adjunct instructor. In 2013, they left the university to join their family's dental practice, Hillis Family Dental, where they served as Practice Manager / COO until 2021. In 2021, they co-founded Good Life Growing and currently serves as its COO.

James Hillis studied history and Latin at Creighton University, before going on to study law at the Creighton University School of Law. James then completed a Master of Science in Negotiation & Conflict Resolution, also at Creighton University. James later completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Public & Social Policy at Saint Louis University. Finally, they obtained certification in mediation from Creighton University.
