Megan Barkett

Megan Barkett is an accomplished producer, editor, and writer with extensive experience in broadcast journalism, currently serving as a producer/editor/writer for ABC's GMA3: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW, recognized with DuPont and Gracie awards. Prior roles include operations producer for the ABC News Special Reports team and associate producer for Good Morning America Weekends. Megan's background features positions as assistant editor at Hogarth and Alkemy X, as well as an Emmy award-winning assistant editor for Vice Season 6 on HBO. Additional experiences span roles at ABC News as a production assistant and freelance videographer, along with a position as a QC specialist for Major League Baseball. Megan holds Bachelor's degrees in Broadcast News and Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder.
