Shamir Scott

Shamir Scott has a varied work experience spanning over a decade. Shamir started their career in 2010 as a Home Care Provider at Home Instead Senior Care and worked there until 2016. Shamir then joined HumanKind in 2017 as a Direct Support Professional and continued in that role until 2019. In the same year, they also worked as Front Desk Staff at KINETIX HEALTH CLUB, LLC. Shamir returned to HumanKind in 2019 as a Direct Support Professional II and held the position until 2021. Since 2020, they have been working at Good Neighbor Homes, LLC, initially as a Direct Support Professional and was later promoted to Program Supervisor. Currently, Shamir holds the role of Program Director at Good Neighbor Homes, LLC.

Shamir Scott completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Randolph College from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2018, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in General Studies from Central Virginia Community College.
