Jaclyn Gikis has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Jaclyn began their career at Rhode Island Hospital as an ER/ Level I Trauma Nurse from 2002 to 2004. Jaclyn then moved on to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where they worked as an Emergency Room RN from 2004 to 2008 and later as an Intensive Care Nurse from 2008 to 2015. In 2015, Jaclyn joined Madonna Manor Diocesan Health Facility as a Nursing Manager until 2016. Since 2016, they have been working at Good Samaritan Medical Center, initially as the Director of Behavioral Health Services/ Programming and currently as the Senior Director of Quality and Behavioral Health Services.

Jaclyn Gikis received their Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Gerontology from Capella University, where they attended from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their BSN in Nursing Practice at Rhode Island College, attending from 1999 to 2002.
