Christian Averill

Christian Averill is an experienced nonprofit professional with a strong track record in fundraising and grant writing. Currently serving as the Director of Major and Individual Giving at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, Christian oversees a team of three Giving Officers and has successfully developed major donor events. Previously, Christian worked as a Grants Writer at Lehigh Carbon Community College, where over 60 grant requests were submitted annually, securing funding for various programs. As the Development Director at the Boy Scouts of America, Christian was instrumental in raising nearly $800,000 for the council’s budget and securing significant grant funding. Christian's early career includes roles such as District Director and Senior District Executive within the Boy Scouts organization and as a Graduate Assistant at Lindenwood University, obtaining a master's degree in Nonprofit Administration.
