Lazar Treschan

Lazar Treschan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in youth, family, and community development. Currently serving as Chief Impact and Strategy Officer at Good Shepherd Services since August 2022, Lazar supports various programs aimed at maximizing impact and achieving strategic goals, overseeing contract management and data-driven quality improvement. Previously, as Vice President of Policy and Impact at HERE to HERE from July 2019 to August 2022, Lazar focused on transforming public education systems to empower youth career success. Lazar has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at NYU Steinhardt School and Brooklyn College, teaching courses on demographic analysis and community development leadership. Earlier roles include Director of Youth Policy at Community Service Society, where Lazar led initiatives in youth education policy, and Director of Planning and Evaluation at NYC Department of Youth & Community Development. Lazar holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wesleyan University.
