Jan Feyereisl

Jan Feyereisl is a Senior Research Scientist at GoodAI since February 2016, focused on developing general artificial intelligence to automate cognitive processes. As Executive Director of the AI Roadmap Institute since December 2016, Jan aims to accelerate the pursuit of safe human-level AI. Previously, Jan served as Chief Scientist and CTO at Jumpgate Technologies, leading the development of machine-learning trading strategies and platforms. Experience as a Senior Research Engineer at Samsung Electronics involved research in deep learning and visual information processing. Earlier roles included Research Fellow positions at Pohang University of Science and Technology and The University of Nottingham, along with a visiting researcher role at Poznan University of Technology. Jan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham, where both undergraduate and doctoral studies were completed.
