Elena Debonis

Elena Debonis has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Elena began their career as a Communication Support Intern at ALDA, where they assisted the Communications Officer and gained experience in communication strategy implementation, social media management, and event organization. Elena continued working in the communication field as an Internship Communication Assistant at Salvați Copiii Romania, where they focused on content production, awareness campaigns, and fundraising activities. Elena then took on the role of Communications and Membership Officer at ALDA, where they developed and implemented communication strategies, engaged members, managed websites and social media, and created various content. Following this, they worked as a Communications Officer and Trainer at InterMediaKT, a non-profit organization focused on vocational education, training, and innovation. In this role, they kept up with technological advances, facilitated the dissemination of knowledge, and delivered training in non-formal education. Elena also worked as a Communication Assistant at CCI Martinique, where they contributed to the TEECA program, which aimed to strengthen trade within the Caribbean region. Elena then joined the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as a Communication Assistant, where they supported the organization's mission to deliver reproductive health services and education. Most recently, Elena worked as an Italian language tutor at Preply, providing customized learning programs for French and English speakers. Currently, they hold the position of Social Media & Community Manager at GoodBarber.
