Markus Hoevekamp

Markus Hoevekamp has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Markus is currently the Founder & CEO of Adson AS, a position they have held since 2020. In addition, they serve as a Non Executive Director at GoodBox starting in 2023.

Prior to their current roles, Markus had a long tenure at Verifone, where they held multiple leadership positions. Markus was the Vice President, General Manager for Germany, Spain, Portugal & Italy from 2017 to 2019. Markus also served as the Managing Director of Verifone Holding GmbH and the CEO of Verifone GmbH from 2011 to 2019.

Before joining Verifone, Markus served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at InterCard AG from 2016 to 2019. Markus also worked at Hypercom as the Vice President, Global Self-Service from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Sales, Strategic Business Unit Public Sector at Thales Information Systems from 2005 to 2007.

Markus started their career at CSC Ploenzke, where they worked as the Business Development Director for Public and Private Services from 2000 to 2005. Markus also gained experience as a Project Manager and Senior Consultant at Kienbaum from 1996 to 1999.

Markus Hoevekamp attended the University of Münster from 1989 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Politics, and Philosophy. Markus successfully earned their Diplom-Kaufmann (MBA) upon completion of their studies.
