Magnus Granqvist

Managing Director, Virtual Brains at Goodbye Kansas Group

Magnus Granqvist is the managing director of Virtual Brains at Goodbye Kansas Group. Magnus has over fifteen years of experience in the entertainment industry, having worked with some of the biggest names in cinema and home entertainment.

Granqvist started their career in sales at Sandrew Metronome Distribution Sverige AB, where they eventually became sales director for both Sandrew Metronome and Warner Bros. movie releases in Sweden. Magnus was responsible for the release of hundreds of movies, including Harry Potter, Batman, and Superman. Magnus also oversaw the Home Entertainment division for Sandrew Metronome from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they also served on the board of Sweden's Video Distributors Association from 2007 to 2010.

In 2015, Granqvist co-founded Bublar Group AB (publ), a tech company that was publicly listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market in Stockholm. Magnus served as CEO from 2015 to 2019 and acquired several software companies/agencies during their tenure. In 2019, the company changed its name to Goodbye Kansas Group and is now one of Europe's leading visual content companies with over 250 employees.

Magnus Granqvist has an MBA from Stockholm University and has also served in the military with the Kustjägarna.
