Pontus Garmvild

Pontus Garmvild currently serves as VFX Supervisor at Goodbye Kansas Studios since June 2017, overseeing VFX and Full CG Animation projects. Pontus has held several leadership roles, including Director of VFX & Animation and Head of Animation, managing various departments such as VFX, Animation, and Pipeline Development. Prior experience includes Head of Production at Bläck, a Stockholm-based production house, and VFX Supervisor roles at Visual Art and Kompost. Pontus began with 3D artistry as a 3D Generalist at Visual Art. Education includes studies at Södertörn University, Nackademin, and The Game Assembly, culminating in a degree in Digital Project Game Management.
