Richard Johnson

Advocacy & Civic Engagement Coordinator at GoodCall

Richard Johnson serves as the Advocacy and Civic Coordinator for Good Call. He strategizes and oversees communications for Good Call.

Prior to joining Good Call, Richard worked on political campaigns for Assemblyman Keith Wright and Kathleen Rice for Congress. He has also held positions with the engagement consulting firm, Grassroots Solutions, the Texas-based Hillcrest Foundation, and Concurrences, a French publication focusing on antitrust and monopolization. At Good Call, he particularly enjoys the face-to-face nature of outreach efforts and the organic conversations and connections that it generates.

Richard completed his undergraduate work at Long Island University, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Sociology, and went on to earn his JD. In addition to criminal justice reform, Richard’s advocacy goals include supporting LGBTQIA+ youth from marginalized communities to achieve their career and life goals.
