Monika Lalák

Monika Lalák has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design and graphic design. Monika started their career as a Graphic Designer at inQool a.s. in 2009 and worked there until 2011. Monika then moved on to WebyNaMieru s.r.o. as a Frontend Developer from 2012 to 2013. Following this, Monika joined SolarWinds as a User Experience Designer, starting as an Associate from 2013 to 2016, then as a Senior User Experience Designer from 2016 to 2017. Monika was responsible for the user experience of monitoring tools for networking, working closely with product managers to identify pain points and design solutions. In 2017, Monika joined GoodData as a Senior User Experience Designer and later got promoted to the role of Principal User Experience Designer in September 2018.

Monika Lalák holds a Master's Degree in Applied Informatics, Service Science, Management and Engineering from Masaryk University Brno, which was obtained between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Applied Informatics at the same university from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Monika has also obtained certifications in Human-Centered Design from IDEO.org and Gamification from the University of Pennsylvania, in 2015 and 2014 respectively.
